Now You Can See Where Parts Can Be Printed in the Ecosystem
Our latest 26.6 product release is packed with features designed to bridge the visibility gap in distributed manufacturing, tighten data security, and ensure operational readiness—even in the most challenging environments.
Here are the major highlights from this update:
Match Parts to Machines— Instantly
We have introduced a new "Manufacturing Options" table directly on the Part Detail page to solve the visibility gap in distributed manufacturing. Previously, users were unable to see which machines, locations, or materials could produce a specific part in the software, often forcing them to leave the platform to consult external suppliers. This feature provides immediate clarity on production feasibility, enabling users to identify capable services and initiate quotes or orders without leaving the 3YOURMIND ecosystem.
From the Part Detail page, you can view which machines in your ecosystem can produce your part based on your technology, material, and lead time needs.
- What it Does: Automatically lists capable services, machine availability, and material compatibility directly within the software.
- Smart Validation: The system checks if your 3D model fits specific machine dimensions and automatically calculates total lead times (production + shipping).
- The Benefit: Faster decision-making and seamless transition from viewing a part to clicking "Create Order" or "Request Quote."
2. Granular, Role-Based Access Control
We’ve implemented a granular access control system required for specific organizational structures (such as limiting depot access to certain systems). The new flexible, role-based permission scheme provides secure, targeted access to inventory parts for both individual users, units, and organizations.

- Four Clear Levels: Assign VIEW (no build files), PRODUCE (send to machine), EDIT (modify status), or MANAGE (delete/change permissions) rights at the individual part level.
- Controlled Isolation: New roles allow users to create and view their own parts without default access to the entire organization's inventory.
- The Benefit: Secure, targeted access that isolates sensitive data while keeping collaboration friction-free.
3. Clearer Collaboration with Rich Text & Tagging
We have upgraded our comment system to solve the challenges of information overload and restricted collaboration tools. Previously, notifications were sent to all expert users and assignees, leading to email fatigue, while the lack of formatting and file attachments hindered effective project discussions. The new Rich Text Editor solves these issues by enabling targeted communication and rich content sharing, significantly improving team collaboration.
- Targeted Notifications: Use @mentions to loop in specific team members, ensuring people are notified only when their input is needed.
- Rich Context: A new RichText editor supports clean formatting, hyperlinks, and direct file attachments (such as Quality Reports or PDFs) right inside the part or order thread.
4. Expanded "Push-to-Print" for Prusa Machines
Driven by ongoing collaboration with our customers, 3YOURMIND now supports direct G-code transmission to even more machine queues. While this "Push to Print" functionality was first introduced for EOS systems, it has been expanded to include Prusa hardware in this release.
- The Benefit: A secure digital channel directly from the platform to the physical machine. This reduces human error, ensures the correct build file is used, and lays the groundwork for robust Digital Rights Management (DRM).
5. Offline Sync for Mission-Critical Environments
We are introducing an "Offline Sync" capability to ensure seamless access to the 3YOURMIND inventory, even in environments with limited or no internet connectivity. This capability solves the critical problem of maintaining operational readiness and access to manufacturing data—specifically, the ability to find and manufacture parts from the inventory and create new parts—when online access is unavailable.

- Bi-Directional Sync: Users can search the inventory, modify data, and even create new parts while completely offline on a remote server.
- Automatic Reconciliation: Once connectivity is restored, offline changes automatically sync back to the central Hub with built-in conflict resolution.
- The Benefit: Uninterrupted operations and guaranteed readiness in communication-compromised environments.
6. Effortless "Services" Administration
We have enhanced the Admin Panel to significantly reduce the time and effort required to configure production locations. This update allows administrators to efficiently manage workstations, materials, and lead times for all Services in the Ecosystem in one central place. By automating data entries (e.g., through connections to the 3YOURMIND machine database), we enable organizations to quickly scale their operations.
- Automated Setup: Linking a workstation to our printer database now automatically pre-fills technology types, dimensions, and compatible materials.
- The Benefit: Drastically reduces manual entry, allowing admins to efficiently configure and scale dozens of internal or external production locations in a fraction of the time.
