We're Stronger Together
- The Together We Are Strong initiative was formed in direct response to the humanitarian crisis happening in Ukraine. We have been overwhelmed by the support from the global additive manufacturing community.
- With the upcoming RAPID + TCT 2022, the largest industry event in North America, we are pleased to announce an additional way to support Ukraine and, more importantly, Ukrainians.
- With the collaboration of NEXA3D, EOS, BigRep, Wohlers Associates, powered by ASTM International, SYGNIS, Digital University, and 3YOURMIND, we are hosting a silent auction with items donated from 3D printing industry companies, in which all proceeds will go directly to support:
- Advanced manufacturing of parts needed now for medical and aerospace
- Educational workshops to train Ukrainian refugees in 3D printing technologies
- These efforts represent an extension of ongoing projects that have already been implemented. With your support, we can bring more direct aid and opportunity to those affected by unconscionable war.
Donations
- With the support of the RAPID + TCT event organizers, we are offering over 30 items donated by various companies for the silent auction (see list below).
- Each item donated will be given to the highest bidder in a silent auction.
- A donation link via PAYPAL is also available for those wishing to contribute financially either outside the auction or after not securing the highest bidding position.
- We invite all companies with speaking engagements at RAPID + TCT 2022 to use some of their stage time to inform audiences of this initiative and auction. SME will also promote the auction through signage directing visitors toward participating companies’ booths and toward the virtual auction platform.
How It Works

The silent auction will run from Tuesday, May 17th, 10 am (EDT) through Thursday, May 19th, 12 pm (EDT). Financial donations will be accepted beyond these dates.

In addition to the silent auction, a PayPal link for financial donations is also available here.

Non-winning bidders will have the opportunity to change their bid to a financial contribution via PayPal.

Winning bidders will commit their bids through the platform. The donating company will send the items directly to the auction winner. Winning bidders' information will not be shared publicly.

We are working with Digital University to ensure appropriate collections and distribution procedures as well as all necessary tax paperwork.
